my sunday
ok, so I found out 3 days ago that Dad had won us two tickets to see Noel Gallagher’s high flying birds for this sunday (tonight)
Not only that, but we also won tickets to see the sound check with Noel himself! AMAZING! So, got there and there was me, my dad and 4 other people in the whole of sheffield arena having Noel Gallagher play/practice songs. It was like a personal concert, like we’d hired Gallagher for the day! At the end of the sound check, the tour manager gave us all a set list hand signed by noel.
The gig was out of this world. Seriously, I know I always put “OMG, THEY WERE AMAZING” after almost every gig I go to, but in all fairness, tonight just blew my mind. Noel had a choir of 25 professional singers, which was such a lovely touch to some oasis songs. It was like, Noel wanted a personal twist on some of the songs. I just had the most incredible time.
Tonight really does highlight that every cloud does have a silver lining. I’ve had close to the week from hell this week, so for my dad to have won those tickets and taken me, was like a blessing in disguise.
LOVE YOU NOEL
